About the event

Welcome to DANCE LIKE NO ONE'S WATCHING - again

Playful Catharsis Edition

A space for dance, movement and meditation, to sweat, stretch and meditate your way into a lighter life.

This class is designed to inspire you to explore and unlock. This experience is a little more than ecstatic dance; those who feel comfortable and experienced at letting go will be at home and free to play with the ideas presented or create their own. For beginners this is a perfect way to be led into the exploration and opening of dance play. This class is done to 432hz (heart frequency) music but with a couple of pop classics in there so come prepared.

A yoga warm up will be explorative breaking the rules of the classic flow through wriggle and play. Dance will be directed with an area of exploration for each song which you can choose to play with or explore movement of your own accord. Many participants do a bit of both. Finally a few kriya’s will be used to evolve a meditation to help lengthen the spine/central nervous system and use breath work to give a final blast to this ancient meditation system.

Come and be a child with me.

Come and spin until you are entirely in the present moment.

About the facilitator: Erin Zen Warrior

I’m a Holistic Mentor and develop foundation’s to guide courageous seekers to discover their path, their health & ultimately live an expanded, successful, fulfilling life. Specialising in posture, dis-ease & meditation.

Born into a movement family of martial arts, yoga and body building I was destined to step into my somewhat self created vocation. Growing up amongst the zen tradition and with my hands in the earth a strong connection was built with movement and this essential way to move emotion. As a young adult I began my search, ditching law and commerce and beginning my travels.

Over the last 25 years I have dabbled in multi dimensions of movement and transformation. From traditions such as ballet and circus to the ancient arts of martial arts and yoga. Throughout this the mental game has been interesting to explore and watch. In my early 20’s I was not only super fit but super exhausted to the point of suffering multiple layers of hormonal dysfunction. Minor body niggles and a lack of joy lead me to conclude: “There has to be a better way!"

It wasn’t until a pilgrimage to India and the Himalayas at age 25 that I finally heard the ancient message of the yogi’s: “Balance is key”. From here I began to evolve a new approach to my health and the health of my clients: “find your hum”. A balance based approach which eventually led me to continue work inspired by my guru: working successfully with posture, chronic disease and transcendence.

I am unapologetically and dynamically myself. I want you to become unapologetically and dynamically yourself. Do you want to find your warrior self and thrive?

After 16 years of evolving my warrior method I am happy to once again go out into the world and teach the crafts that resurrected so much joy, health and youth in myself and all of my students.

I can't wait for you to join me.
